Joëlle Warren

Born in Liverpool in 1962 Joëlle Warren was educated at Withington Girls’ School, Manchester and read economics at the University of Durham before starting her career with Lloyds Bank as a graduate trainee in the City in 1984. She spent ten years in a variety of management roles in corporate banking, retail branches and management coaching, initially in London then in Cheshire.

In 1994 she joined an international search and selection consultancy as a partner in their Manchester office before establishing Warren Partners in 1999. The business has grown through pioneering a different approach to the search and selection process based on trust and openness underpinned by a team of proven business managers. The team has attracted a blue-chip client base and as Managing Director Joëlle recruits at board level, both executive and non-executive roles. In 2003 Warren Partners beat off tough national and international competition to be named as the UK’s best executive search firm.

Joëlle is married to Andrew, a head teacher in inner city Stoke-on-Trent and they have two sons. Joëlle is a Churchwarden and Chairman of her Parochial Church Council and her other interests include hill walking, skiing and entertaining.

Appointed to the Board of Governors in 2001, Joëlle is Deputy Chair.
