The Centre for Academic Standards and Quality Enhancement services the following committees of Academic Board:

The Student Experience Committee is responsible to Academic Board for overseeing all issues relating to the academic development and enhancement of the student experience, wherever delivered; its focus is on issues of an institutional nature.
The Committee is attended by Associate Deans for Student Experience, Head of appropriate service divisions and Students’ Union representatives. It receives the minutes of Faculty Student Experience Committees and reports to Academic Board.
The Academic Quality and Standards Committee is responsible to Academic Board for overseeing the operation of all academic quality and standards policies and procedures within the University. Its membership includes representatives from the Students’ Union.
The Student Evaluation Strategy Committee is responsible for the University’s strategy for obtaining and responding to student feedback to support improvements in the student experience. It is responsible to the Student Experience Committee. The membership includes representatives from the Associate Deans (Student Experience), the Senior Learning and Teaching Fellows, Heads of many central departments and the Students’ Union.
The Student Experience Committee and Academic Quality and Standards Committee replace the former Academic Development Committee and its Sub-committees from the beginning of the 2012/13 academic year.
