More about Booth Hall

There are eight blocks in Booth Hall, the blocks are called Acton, Byley, Chorlton, Duddon, Eaton, Farndon, Goostrey and Hassall. Each block has up to 16 flats over four floors, mostly 7 bedroom flats. A number of the flats on the ground floor have adapted rooms for disabled students, these flats house either five or six students to allow for extra space in the accessible rooms. There are 26 adapted rooms in total.

All rooms are single en suite rooms (wash basin, WC and shower). Each flat has a shared spacious kitchen/diner/social area.The kitchens are equipped with two sinks, two hobs, oven, microwave and range of cupboards and wall cupboards, store cupboard for cleaning equipment, kettle and toaster. In addition there is a large freezer and separate fridge.

Each bedroom has a data connection with 24/7 access to services such as web browsing, audio/video streaming and a communication gateway through email and messenger software such as MSN.

Booth Hall has its own Reception with staff on duty at all times. Coin operated launderette on site. CCTV coverage of perimeter fence, entrance gates and hall entrance doors.

Booth Hall is adjacent to a budget hotel, pub and a supermarket which form part of a small shopping precinct. You will be a couple of minutes walk from the main campus site, the Students' Union, the sports hall, refectory and café bar.
