Victoria Hall is a privately owned development where the University has reserved accommodation for students.
To be considered for a place at Victoria Hall you should apply online via MMU Accommodation.
If you are offered Victoria Hall, Managed Partnership accommodation, the room is allocated by University staff but your contract will be directly with the owners of the hall and not the University.
You will be asked for an advanced first payment of rent (20% of the total hall fee) to secure the accommodation. This is standard practice in private accommodation. Successful applicants will be sent an offer of accommodation by e-mail. Your contract information will be e-mailed to you with other important documents. These can be quite large attachments, so you should ensure that your e-mail account can receive them. You will need to print and return the required documents and the pre-payment, within the stipulated timescale.
The terms of contract will differ to those of the University. This does mean that you will not be able to view and accept the offer online as you would a University-owned room.
