New Directions is a bespoke 2-day programme designed to equip our student, graduates and recent alumni with essential enterprising skills. There will be sessions on building your personal brand, creativity, generating ideas, problem solving and how to makes ideas happen.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to meet, network and exchange knowledge with successful local entrepreneurs. The Enterprise Champion team are passionate about enterprise and have designed, written and planned New Directions. Since 2008 the team has helped over 1,500 MMU students to develop their enterprising skills as well as helping to create over 100 new graduate businesses

Are you thinking of starting your own business? Do you have an idea that you want to turn into a reality? Do you want to be your own boss?
If so, then the Business Start Up Boot Camp is for you! It will cover the initial building blocks of setting up a successful business and will provide support, advice, resources, guidance and mentoring to help you create a commercially viable venture. It will be delivered by external facilitators who are all experts in their field.

The bootcamp will form part of the NW HE Enterprise Champions Project which is funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF). To attend this programme you must have a business idea or ocial enterprise idea that you want to develop or grow and be available to attend both days of this intensive 2 day programme. Study Options Open Days are a series of free information events designed to give students the chance to find out more about studying at Australian and New Zealand universities.
It's an opportunity not to be missed - these are the only events in the UK where you can meet and talk to a large number of Australian and New Zealand universities face-to-face, and under one roof. You can find out more about their study programmes, their areas of research strength and focus, their academics and their postgraduate facilities as well as the post study work opportunities currently available in Australia and New Zealand.

As part of our continued commitment towards recruiting Graduates/Undergraduates we will be hosting a Lloyd's Register Marine Student Open Day on Thursday 18th July in our London offices at 71 Fenchurch Street.
It is intended as an informal opportunity to increase your understanding of Lloyd's Register and a chance to meet with the graduate team, current graduates and some of our technical experts.
The day will start at 10:45am and will run through till approximately 4:30pm; planned sessions include an opening address from our CEO, a talk on a recent Marine case study - and a group exercise in the afternoon.
Up to £100 in travel expenses incurred in getting to the venue will be reimbursed.
