One-to-one Career Appointments

If, once you’ve attended our range of workshops, you feel it would be useful to talk over your ideas on a one-to-one basis you can book an appointment with one of our professionally trained Careers & Employability Advisers.

Most appointments are 15 minutes long, so you need to consider what can be realistically achieved in this time.

It will help to use the time most effectively if you do some preparatory work; for example, reading our career guides or using Prospects Planner to find inspiration for the types of jobs that might suit you. You can also use the Prospects website to explore types of jobs in detail.

If your adviser feels that a longer guidance appointment of up to 40 minutes will be appropriate, he or she will recommend this after your initial meeting.

For further information, ring 0161 247 3483 and speak to one of our Information Team.
