The University observes the requirements of the Data Protection Act and will not disclose information regarding its students to third parties unless authorised or permitted to do so under its DPA registration.

Students’ study location, residential addresses, telephone numbers and e-mail addresses are treated as confidential and will not be disclosed.

The University does not operate a contact service for messages. Should you have urgent need to contact a student, then it may be possible for us to pass on a message but this will only be done in exceptional cases.

Requests for messages to be passed on should be sent to the student’s department (where this is known) or to the Academic Registrar. Messages relating to genuine emergencies and/or accidents will be responded to appropriately.
