The transport section operates an intersite van service. Predominantly focussed on library book rotation, the van also performs on average an additional 1000 jobs per year ranging from moving exhibition equipment to fabric.

We also have a chauffeur who, when not booked in for priority work, is available to staff required to attend appointments for university business. Please contact the helpdesk on extension 2882.

Transport also coordinates the hiring of vehicles by staff with the driving licence database so we need to be kept informed. From refrigerated vans to heavy duty vehicles, we know someone who can assist.
