As staff, you already give a lot to the University through your work. But if you feel that you'd like to do something extra for the students – for the people and the place in which you've already invested so much of your time, talents and expertise – you can do so by making a gift to the MMU Fund.
The MMU Fund supports project areas that help ensure that today’s students will have the opportunities, resources and facilities to get the most from their MMU experience – and you can choose where to direct your donation. Your gift could help fund a new scholarship, a student prize, a bursary that could help students in financial need, or a bursary to reward achievements or sports excellence.

Some staff, alumni, businesses and other members of the University’s extended community have already shown their support by donating towards the Fund. Every gift counts, whatever its size, for it is the combined strength of many gifts – of all sizes – that will make a beneficial impact on today’s students.
Please show your support and make a donation to The MMU Fund now.
As a member of MMU staff, you are probably a UK taxpayer and so your donation is eligible for Gift Aid. All you have to do to Gift Aid your donation is sign the declaration on the Staff Donation Form.
Gift Aid is a simple scheme that enables charities to claim an additional 25p from every £1 donated by UK taxpayers (and this is eligible for the government’s ‘matched’ funding scheme for English Higher Education). By signing the Gift Aid declaration, you can increase the value of your gift.
If a higher rate tax-payer donates £100 to the MMU Fund, £25 can be added to the value of this gift in Gift Aid.
In addition, you can also receive a £25 rebate on this donation when completing the Self Assessment Form. This means that your £100 donation would actually cost you £75.
If a 50% rate tax-payer donates £100 to the MMU Fund, £25 can be added to the value of this gift in Gift Aid.
In addition, you can also receive a £37.50 rebate on this donation when completing the Self Assessment Form. This means that a £100 donation would actually cost you £62.50.
