Manchester Metropolitan University: a proud history of transforming lives
Our origins date from the early 19th century, and since then we have prided ourselves on providing accessible education to a diverse student community.
The past 25 years have brought about many changes to student funding and yet, despite these changes, MMU still believes passionately that going to university can transform a person’s life.
Our priority is to help the new generation of students pursue their dreams of entering higher education, irrespective of their social or cultural background.
We also want to make sure that those students who do study at the University have a first-class learning experience.
We are asking alumni, staff, friends and businesses to help transform lives by making a gift to the University.
