HR Director's Office
Welcome to my office. As HR Director I am responsible
for all of the sections within the Division and am supported by my
senior team. My secretary, Julie Butler (j.butler@mmu.ac.uk)
also plays a central role within the team and is responsible for the
administration of senior staff appointments. If you are applying for
a senior staff post within the University, Julie will be able to answer
any queries you may have.
As a Division we are committed to the development of a rolling
three year Human Resources
Strategy, which supports the achievement of the University's
mission and strategic goals. The strategy will be reviewed and revised
annually in consultation with key stakeholders and in the light
of changing HR priorities. We believe that our role as a Division
is to add value to the University through the development and implementation
of the HR Strategy and, by taking a leading role in enhancing staff
development, equal opportunities, employee relations and health
and safety and by delivering an effective, efficient and client
responsive personnel service.
