Monitoring and Progress
Welcome to the Equality and Diversity Monitoring and Reporting web page
This Web page has been created to help staff across the University to access equality monitoring data and reports to assist with the completion of Equality Impact Assessments (EIA) and help with other aspects of E & D monitoring.
Effective data gathering and reporting is essential to support equality and diversity (E & D) monitoring. E & D data can be used to monitor the effects of policies, practices and activities on staff and students from all equality groups and identify where there may be an adverse effect on particular groups. In turn, this can help to identify positive changes that can be made to improve equality and diversity in every aspect of Higher Education life including student access, student satisfaction, student accommodation, staff recruitment employment and training.
This web page provides links to reports covering the 6 Equality Strands: Ethnicity, Gender, Disability, Age, Sexual Orientation and Religion and/or Belief.
We are currently working in collaboration with colleagues Planning, Management and Information (PMI) and the HR Management Information Systems (MIS) team to further extend the range of E & D monitoring reports.
If you would like help with any aspect of E & D monitoring, including the production of specific reports/data on the MMU staff or student population, or to get reports in another format please contact: Ms. Victoria Jarman, v.jarman@mmu.ac.uk, EIA and E & D Co-ordinator.
