Errim Mahmoud
Director of MMU International
Errim joined MMU International in November 2007 bringing with her extensive experience working for the British Council overseas and several years in a British University’s International Office.
Ewa
Principal Office Administrator
Ewa manages the day-to-day operations of MMU International and supports recruitment activities. She lived in Spain where she learned Spanish. Ewa has a masters degree in Law and speaks Polish.
Frances Corley
International Marketing and Recruitment Manager
Frances leads the Marketing and Recruitment team with responsibility for recruitment of international students and the marketing of MMU in target countries. Frances has a degree in French, and speaks Spanish and Portuguese as well.
Margaret Freymann
International Relations Officer
Margaret manages MMU International’s portfolio of Education Advisors and is also is responsible for strategic marketing of MMU and its courses in target countries. She joined the University in 1988.
Kate Leek
International Officer
Kate is responsible for strategic marketing of MMU and its courses in target countries. She has lived in Manchester for over 20 years.
Shayne Langlois
International Officer
Shayne is responsible for strategic marketing of MMU and its courses in target countries. He also manages new media for MMU International, including the website and its bloggers. Shayne is from Canada and lived for several years in Japan. He speaks Japanese and has studied French to Grade 12 level. Shayne has recently completed a diploma in marketing.
Daniel Annoot
International Officer
Daniel is responsible for strategic marketing of MMU and its courses in target countries. He has lived in Hong Kong, France and Japan, and has travelled widely. Daniel speaks French and Japanese, and is currently studying Spanish.
Constance Chiu
International Administrator
Constance has lived in Manchester since 2001 and she previously worked in the Department of Engineering and Technology at MMU, where she provided support to students. She graduated in July 2009 after 3 years of part time degree studies in Business and Marketing at MMU. Originally from Singapore, Constance speaks Mandarin, Hokkien, Cantonese and Teochew.
Students at MMU have the opportunity to study with our partners in Europe, Hong Kong, Australia, Canada and the United States. MMU also welcomes exchange and study abroad students who wish to experience studying at one of the UK’s most popular universities.
Tomoko Endersby
Exchanges and Study Abroad Manager
Tomoko has been working at MMU since 2005 and leads the Exchanges and Study Abroad Unit. She works with over 200 of MMU's overseas exchange partners located all over the world. Tomoko is originally from Japan and speaks Japanese; she has been living in the UK for almost 25 years.
Chris Renshaw
Exchanges and Study Abroad Administrator
Chris has an undergraduate degree in History and has travelled through Europe, the Middle East and the United States for both research and cultural purposes. He has also studied Spanish and Italian. Chris looks after incoming European and worldwide exchange students and deals with MMU students who wish to participate in an exchange programme overseas.
Thereza Bandouna
International Compliance and Experience Co-Ordinator
Tessa initially worked as a researcher in the field of Agriculture in South Africa. She lived in the Netherlands for 7 years before joining MMU. Throughout her career she has had interest in International Education and has a passion to facilitate & promote student mobility. Tessa can speak Dutch, Greek and Hungarian at a basic level.
Matthew Healy
International Compliance and Experience Administrator
Matthew is originally from Oldham and has worked in other departments within the university. He has an undergraduate degree in Politics and has a keen interest in International politics.
International Student Welfare is important at MMU. The Immigration and Welfare Unit can provide confidential advice and help with many aspects of living or studying here. They also support students through the UK immigration processes during their time at MMU.
Nicola Ross
Immigration & Welfare Manager
Nicola has an Undergraduate Degree in Public Relations and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing, which she taught part-time for several years.
Having spent ten years providing Information, Advice and Guidance in a further education college in Manchester, Nicola joined MMU in 2010. In her previous role Nicola recruited students in Taiwan, Thailand and Japan and supported students from all over the world.
Nicola is responsible for the Immigration & Welfare Unit and, with Rebecca, helps students especially with their student visa applications.
Nicola was an Exchange student in Holland and speaks Spanish and French (badly).
Rebecca Bradley
Immigration and Welfare Assistant
Rebecca has worked within MMU International since 2006 providing students with immigration and welfare advice, and helping American students apply for federal aid. She has a keen interest in culture following a degree in History and American Studies, and has spent time backpacking through Europe, South East Asia, Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands, and the United States. South America is next on the list!
Student Ambassadors play an important role in the administrative functions at MMU International. They are usually MMU Alumni and speak many foreign languages. They often answer telephone and email enquiries and help support recruitment and marketing activities overseas.
