Course Fees for international students

How much will it cost?

It’s not just the course fees you have to take into account when costing your studies. Think about the cost of accommodation, food and general living too. MMU scores well in all these respects. Our international fees are competitive. Plus the cost of living in our region is considerably lower than London and many other world cities. At MMU, you’ll also be part of a very large student population. Many shops, restaurants and services offer special student discounts, which all helps to keep costs down!

MMU scores well in all these respects. Our international fees are competitive. Plus the cost of living in our region is considerably lower than London and many other world cities.

Undergraduate students should note that their tuition fees remain the same for each year of their degree, which is a key point when comparing the costs of studying at MMU with other universities.

See cost of living and accommodation for more details.

Home/Overseas Status

You can be eligible for lower "home" fees and for student support from a local education authority in the UK if you satisfy three basic conditions:

  • You must have been ordinarily resident in the UK for the three years immediately prior to the start of your course
  • For any part of those three years you must not have been resident in the UK for the purpose of full-time education
  • You must be settled in the UK at a specified date prior to the start of your course.

Being settled means if you are ordinarily resident in the UK and there are no restrictions on how long you are allowed to stay here.

If you fail to fulfil any one of the three conditions, there are exceptions.

Please refer to the UKCISA tuition fees document for more information.
