Vice-Chancellor’s International Scholarship 2012

MMU has a comprehensive scholarship programme for international students. In 2012 we will allocate around £200,000 for international scholarships.

The scholarships are awarded on the basis of:

  • academic merit
    AND
  • what you expect to gain from the course you are taking
    AND
  • what you intend to do after completing the course.

The deadline for VC International Scholarships is June 30 for 2012 entry.

Undergraduate VC International Scholarship

MMU is delighted to be making available a number of scholarships – each to the value of £2,500 to overseas students who enrol on our full-time undergraduate taught programmes.

Who can apply?

You can apply for an award if you:

  • are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
    AND
  • have an offer of a place on a undergraduate taught course at MMU for September 2012 entry
    AND
  • are not currently registered on an undergraduate course at MMU

Undergraduate Top-Up VC International Scholarship

MMU is delighted to be making available a number of scholarships – each to the value of £1,000 to overseas students who enrol on our full time top-up undergraduate taught programmes.

Who can apply?

You can apply for an award if you:

  • are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
    AND
  • have an offer of a place on a undergraduate taught course at MMU for September 2012 entry
    AND
  • are not currently registered on a undergraduate course at MMU

Postgraduate VC International Scholarship

MMU is delighted to be making available a number of scholarships - each to the value of £3,000 to overseas students who enrol on our full time postgraduate taught programmes.

Who can apply?

You can apply for an award if you:

  • are an international student (classified as ‘overseas’ for tuition fee purposes)
    AND
  • have an offer of a place on a postgraduate taught course at MMU for September 2012 entry or January 2013 entry
    AND
  • are not currently registered on a postgraduate course at MMU

To apply, download the application form and email your completed application to vcscholarships@mmu.ac.uk.

Application Deadlines

The deadline for receipt of application is 30th June 2012 for undergraduate and postgraduate courses beginning September 2012, or 15th November 2012 for postgraduate courses beginning January 2013.

Students will be notified if their application has been successful in August 2012 for courses starting in September 2012 and December 2012 for courses starting in January 2013.

You’ll find many sources of funding if you want to come and study in the UK. The British Government and other UK organisations provide a number of scholarships and awards for international students, although the scholarships are usually for postgraduate study.
