The UK is the ideal hub to travel to many other countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. You no longer need a re-entry visa if you plan to holiday abroad or take a field trip.

When you come back, however, the Immigration Officer will still want to know you're entitled to enter the country as a student, even if you have a valid visa.

Take your enrolment letter with you, together with proof that you have enough money to support yourself.

Also, you may need a visa to enter the countries you're visiting, so check with their embassy, a travel agent or the International Office before you finalise your travel arrangements.
