MMU staff and students may use the antivirus software provided on this website to protect their own machines for as long as they are students or members of staff at the University.

Software provided on this website is the Sophos Remote Update software designed for mobile or remote users. The website is updated regularly with new information and updates regarding current virus and security threats.

Software Usage

• Use of and access to the MMU remote anti-virus website and software is restricted to users of the MMU network
• You will be able to receive updates until you leave the university and your network ID and password are disabled. At this point there will be no further updates and you should look to install alternate antivirus software.
