The university has its own telephone system which is run by IT Services.
Most buildings are connected to the system, which allows inter-site calls at no cost.
The most up-to-date staff details may be obtained by clicking the Staff link at the top of any MMU web page and using the Staff Search.
From inside the University, dial 0 to be connected to the switchboard. From outside, dial 0161 247 2000.
If you wish to make a personal call, dial 79 (instead of 9) for an outside line. Your call will be automatically logged and you will be billed every quarter.
All calls are recharged to departments.
