
Due to the fast-changing nature of online communications and the priorities set within the Vice-Chancellor’s change agenda, the need to evaluate and re-develop Manchester Metropolitan University’s online presence became increasingly important.
MMU’s website needed major re-branding and re-development work in order to reflect the University’s new positioning as ‘The University for World-Class Professionals’.
Working in collaboration with colleagues in other areas of Marketing and Communications, the New Media Team developed the new MMU website using innovative and informative content, based on solid research and rigorous user-testing.
The newly launched site was well-received, and ensured maximum impact and relevance to its key audiences. Feedback from both internal and external stakeholders has been very positive and encouraging, and an institution-wide rollout is now underway.
MMU’s website is fit-for-purpose, engaging, and an example of good practice in the HE sector and beyond.
