Greetings Card Designer

Anisha is greatly inspired by her trips to India, and the colour combinations she chooses are influenced by traditional Indian dresses known as ‘Chanya Choris’. Her work concentrates on attention to detail and each range evolves around an intricate pattern design which is then usually embellished with sequins.
Anisha focuses on designing greetings cards, which are decorated with drawn lines and embellishments and are inspired by Indian decoration and architecture, from the repetition seen in the ornamentation of newsprint, henna patterns, paisleys and decorative artifacts.
The patterns are created using an oil pastel scratch effect technique, which is then scanned and computer manipulated using Adobe® Photoshop®.
