‘My work is directly inspired by Manchester’s rich industrial heritage, mechanical machinery and drawing on childhood memories. This gives my work an industrial and sometimes geometric look. I try to inject each piece with the intrigue and wonder I used to feel towards the small mechanical items that my father used to have lying round his workshop. I combine my inspirations with the use of kinetic elements and antique watch parts within my jewellery, each piece is entirely individual and handcrafted in precious metals.’
