The ‘Inheritance’ collection is inspired by femininity; this is expressed in the ornate but delicate detailing seen in my work. The range of rings, earrings, pendants, necklaces bangles and brooches are intricately made, versatile and fluid in movement. My work is a celebration, a way to pay homage to craftswomen of days gone by. The dedication of these highly skilled women inspires me to continue to develop my own fine craft through contemporary design.

MMU was the best decision that I ever made. My course provided space and freedom to explore and experiment whilst gaining a thorough understanding of how I work. Going to university was the turning point that ignited a spark in my creative process and enabled me to identify with my own working practices and personal styles. I gained confidence and expanded my skills and expertise which motivated me to develop my ideas and continually re-evaluate and refine my work.

The creative business development programme enabled me to put my ideas into a viable business plan and gave me the confidence to pursue my career as a designer.
