Blue Crystal Ball

11am - 6pm

Blue Crystal Ball is a collection of new film and video works that explores the ideals and values of the Olympic movement. Made by international, contemporary artists, the work fuses experimental film and video making practices, archive material, animation and virtual worlds. The artists speculate, like fortune tellers, on the rhetoric surrounding nation, unity and sport, whilst digging deeper into the ancient roots and future of the games. Featuring artists Kota Ezawa, Cao Fei, Yeondoo Jung, Kimsooja, Torsten Lauschmann, Susan Pui San Lok, Emily Wardill, Hiraki Sawa and Kyungwoo Chun.
