Masterclass: Successful Franchising

Are you considering buying a franchise but are unsure whether it is for you? Are you looking to expand your existing business through a franchise model?

Starting any business can be a daunting prospect, but perhaps a well-known brand name, with a clear business model to follow and mentors on hand to give advice, would make it more appealing?


Our round table event will introduce franchising as a concept, give you an understanding of the processes involved in becoming a franchisee and offer you a chance to speak to industry experts with practical experience of running a successful franchise.

Our Speakers


Mel Fisher is an entrepreneur with vast experience and expertise in setting-up and supporting micro - businesses. Specifically working with new franchise applicants and supporting them from their initial research up to launching their business.

Naomi Timperley is a translator, mediator, enabler and fixer. She is a bridge-builder. In business, bridge-builders are essential. Co-Founder of Tech North Advocates and a consultant working with tech and digital business Naomi was named in the Maserati 100 in 2015 - a definitive list of business leaders who actively support the next generation of entrepreneurs. She is also a TEDx speaker and mentor.

Colin Chadwick operates within the Franchise Sector, his role is to interact and build relationships with franchisors, business intermediaries and associated bodies.
