The Manchester Run is in its 14th year and is now a firmly established date in the city’s calendar of events. The popular 10K Run, the City Games, along with the introduction of the Half Marathon, attracts hundreds of competitors, and tens of thousands of visitors to the city and is broadcast live on BBC.
This year, we want our staff and students to be part of the team and be #McrMetProud! MMU Sport are pleased to offer any staff or students entry to the Great Manchester 10k race on Sunday 28th May, at a heavily discounted price of £20!*
You'll start the race alongside fellow Team MMU Sport entrants, and you'll get the same goodies, and finisher pack as all other entrants, but at a much discounted price from the £38 entry fee!
If you fancy a challenge, want to set a personal best, run with your mates or tackle your first ever 10km race then now is the time. Do it for charity, do it for a laugh, but don't do it alone – join in and do it with hundreds of staff and students from Manchester Metropolitan University.
The run will be on Sunday 28th May, with the start line on Portland Street near the junction with Oxford Road.
You can find out more info and enter by visiting https://www2.mmu.ac.uk/sport/health-and-fitness/mmuten/. There’s also some training guides to get you started and information on other staff and student MMU Sport sessions to get you run-ready!
*Only one entry per person. Discounted entries are only for students and staff, who must produce a valid Man Met ID card.
