A number of University boards and committees, including the Board of Governors and Academic Board, have elected positions for staff members.
Elections for the Board of Governors and Academic Board are organised by the Governance and Secretariat Team and are governed by the University's Elections Procedure.
Elections to other Boards and Committees will be organised by the appropriate department (e.g. CASQE for Academic Development Committee and its Sub-Committees) or Faculty (for Faculty Board and other Faculty committees). The University Elections Procedure may also be used for these elections.
Academic Board - Elections for Academic Board positions are held every two years. The current term of office of elected representatives ends on 31 July 2013. The next elections will be held during the Summer Term 2013.
Board of Governors - Elections for Board of Governors' positions are held every three years. The current term of office of elected representatives ends on 31 March 2013. The next elections will be held during the Spring Term 2013.
