Academic Board Membership Elections

Academic Board has a number of elected positions for staff members including teaching staff representatives for all faculties and non-faculty teaching staff.

The elections for Academic Board teaching staff representatives are organised by the Governance and Secretariat Team and are governed by the University's Elections Procedure.

Cycle of Elections

Elections for Academic Board positions are held every two years. The current term of office of elected representatives ends on 31 July 2013.

Summer 2013 Academic Board Elections

Following the recent Elections the following have been elected to serve on Academic Board for a term of office from 1 August 2013 until 31 July 2015:

  • Art and Design - Jane McFadyen
  • Business and Law - Karen Greig
  • Education - Jonathan Doherty
  • Health, Psychology and Social Care - Jacqueline Gladwin
  • Hollings - To be confirmed
  • Humanities, Languages and Social Science - Sian Lambert
  • MMU Cheshire - Rachel Dickinson
  • Science and Engineering - Conway Mothobi
  • Non-Faculty - Karen Moore
