  • Coursework information: provides you with guidance on submitting your coursework. You can also access information on your coursework and submission deadlines via your Moodle area.
  • Harvard referencing: an online tutorial to help you correctly cite references in your academic work.
  • Student sickness certification: information on what to do and who to notify if you are absent because of illness. If you have a severe illness that disrupts your studies you may find information on Exceptional Factors helpful.
  • Student attendance and absence: describes what attendance and level of engagement is required of students and explains the conditions that apply if you are absent.
  • Exceptional Factors: guidance on what to do if you find yourself experiencing serious and exceptional factors outside your control which are affecting your performance on your course or programme.
  • Awards and classifications: explains the classifications of Honours and Pass degrees and shows how your marks are combined for each classification.
  • Academic appeals: an explanation of the University’s appeals procedure.
  • Cheating and plagiarism: an explanation of what constitutes misconduct and guidance on how the University deals with such cases.
