The university has made the decision to discontinue the Loyalty Discount Scheme in it’s current form, therefore, it will only apply to the 2011/12 academic year.
However, there are two exceptions, the Law School and the International office will continue to offer a discount and re-launch their schemes under the new names of “Law Loyalty Award” and “International Loyalty Award”. These two exceptions will be based on the criteria below:
If you are a Home or EU Manchester Metropolitan university LLB or GDL graduate you are eligible for a 10% loyalty discount on fees for the LPC and BPTC courses and all MMU Home or EU graduates are eligible for a 10% discount on the GDL conversion course. Full-time overseas students who pay the full overseas tuition fee will be eligible for a £1,000 discount.
If you are an overseas student and have successfully completed a full-time Bachelors degree at Manchester Metropolitan University (including the MChem), you may be eligible for a tuition fee discount when you take a full-time taught course leading to a postgraduate Certificate, Postgraduate Diploma, or Masters degree. The International Loyalty Award is £1,000 for full-time students who pay the full Overseas tuition fee. The International Loyalty Award cannot be held with other fee bursaries or discounts from the University. If you are eligible for both a Loyalty Award and a Family Discount, you will be entitled to one of these only, and you will be awarded the greater of the two.
