Based in our state-of-the-art Brooks Building, the Faculty offers courses in health, psychology and social care, as well as our courses for those looking to work with children and young people.
Across our varied range of programmes, students will learn from staff who are accredited specialists at the forefront of current practice both in the UK and internationally, implementing their expertise to inform teaching and research. Students can expect to grow and experiment with their professional ambitions whilst studying at Manchester Met. Through exploration, practical experience, and creative methods of assessment they will gain the knowledge and skills needed for a rewarding career.
Equipped with specialist facilities and dedicated spaces, we provide our students with the opportunity to learn in an environment similar to what they will expect to see in their chosen specialist career.
We offer a range of subject taster days within the Faculty of Health and Education that provide an opportunity for students to gain a better understanding of the large breadth of subjects offered within the Faculty. During the days students will take part in interactive sessions delivered by our academics, working in small groups to explore the subject area in greater detail.
We also deliver bespoke subject activity both on and off campus. If this would be of interest, please get in touch with the Faculty Outreach Team via subjectoutreach@mmu.ac.uk.
