The University is easily reached by excellent travel connections in this region. Manchester's International Airport serves over 200 destinations worldwide, and with first class rail links, a great network of motorways, trams and buses, it is one of the most accessible cities in the UK.

By Plane:
The airport is just ten miles from Manchester City Centre and can be accessed from 29 UK locations as well as most major international cities. The airport's 24 hour rail service (six trains run throughout the day, Monday to Saturday with four on Sundays) can take you to the heart of the city in less than 20 minutes.
By Train:
Both the All Saints and Aytoun Campus's are easily accessible from either Piccadilly and Oxford Road Stations.
The Aytoun Campus is just a short walk from Picadilly whereas Oxford Road Station is ideal to get you to the All Saints Campus which can be reached by walking along Whitworth Street and turning left onto Oxford Road.
You could also catch the Metrolink to St Peters Square (head straight down Oxford Road for about 650
yards/594m) or a train to Oxford Road Station (turn right onto Oxford
Road and straight down). Alternatively catch the 147 bus direct from Piccadilly Station.
By Car:
From the north:
- Leave the M6 junction 21 for the M62. The M62 leads to the M602, which becomes the A57 (Regent Road) and then the A57M (Mancunian Way).
- Take the first exit on the high level A57M (signposted A34 Congleton).
- Take the left lane for the All Saints Campus (3 miles/5km).
From the south:
- Leave the M6 at junction 19 (Knutsford) following signs to Manchester Airport on the A556.
- Then take the M56 straight onto the A5103 (the Britannia Airport Hotel) at junction 3, following signs to Manchester City Centre.
- Continue to the city for the All Saints Campus (3 miles/ 5km).
By Coach:
If you are travelling by coach to Manchester you will arrive into Manchester Central Station on Chorlton Street. On arrival walk down Whitworth Street (which is clearly signposted) to the end where you need to turn left onto Oxford Road for the All Saints Campus.
Suburban Venues

By Plane:
The airport is just ten miles from Didsbury and can be accessed from 29 UK locations as well as most major international cities. The airport's 24 hour rail service (six trains an hour run throughout the day, Monday to Saturday with four on Sundays) can take you to East Didsbury in less than 20 minutes.
By Train:
From East Didsbury station walk west along Wilmslow Road (towards Didsbury Village and Manchester City Centre, away from Tesco supermarket) for a quarter of a mile. The campus entrance is on the right.
By Bus:
Services 42, 42R, 45A, 142 & 157 run frequently from the city centre (from Piccadilly Gardens via Oxford Road train station). Ask for the Didsbury Campus (the stop is also known as the Old Cock). Services 20, 23 & 370 also stop at the campus.
By Car:
From the south leave the M6 Junction 19 (Knutsford) following signs to Manchester Airport on the A556. Then take the M56 straight onto the A5103 at Junction 3, following signs to Manchester City Centre. Turn right onto the A5145/Barlow Moor Road. At the traffic lights on Palatine Road go straight ahead and then right onto Wilmslow Road. The Didsbury campus is approximately half a mile ahead on the left.
From the north leave the M6 at Junction 21 for the M62. The M62 leads to the M602, which becomes the A57/Regent Road and then the A57M/Mancunian Way. Take the first slip road before the high level A57M (signposted Universities). Leave at the first exit on the high level A57M (signposted A34 Congleton), then follow Congleton signs onto the A34/Kingsway. At the Tesco clock tower turn right onto the A5145/Wilmslow Road. The campus entrance is a quarter of a mile further on the right.
Cheshire Venues

By Plane:
The airport is approximately 25 miles from Crewe and can be accessed from 29 UK locations as well as most major international cities. The airport's 24 hour rail service (six trains an hour run throughout the day, Monday to Saturday with four on Sundays) can take you to the Crewe in 30 minutes.
By Train:
To reach either campus, take a train to Crewe station. Crewe campus is a short walk (800m) from the station. On leaving the station turn right, cross the pelican crossing, walk past the petrol station and cross Macon Way. Walk down Crewe Green Road past the Fire Station. Crewe Campus is on the Left.
To reach Alsager Campus from Crewe station, turn right on leaving the station and cross the road at the pelican crossing. Bear right again and walk past the Crewe Arms Hotel to the bus stop which is located near the roundabout. The FIRST PMT 20 bus service runs half-hourly. Leave the bus at the Hassall Road stop and walk down Hassall Road to the Alsager Campus.
By Car:
There are two campuses in Cheshire, one in Crewe and the other in Alsager, which are some six miles apart. Both campuses are signposted from junction 16 of the M6 motorway. Crewe Campus is five miles from junction 16 following the A500 (A5020).
Alsager Campus is 3 miles from junction 16 following the B5078 (B5077).
Car parking is available at both campuses.
