What we offer

Our mission at the Centre for Enterprise is to transform businesses through innovation and learning, enabling them to embrace the future, grow sustainably, and thrive, in a rapidly evolving digital world.

Our specialist team turns leading research into practical solutions. We provide businesses with support to upskill staff, adopt emerging technologies and boost productivity.

We look at the needs of micro, small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) and help them identify achievable steps. Whether it’s developing action plans, marketing strategies or business toolkits through our growth programmes, or identifying how to adopt digital or green technologies, or bring a new product or service to market through our innovation services, we can help.

We offer a variety of part and fully subsidised support, providing access to:

  • Cutting-edge research into business and technology,
  • Our world-class facilities,
  • Networking opportunities with like-minded business leaders.

Our ambition is to help businesses achieve sustainable growth, creative excellence and help create greener futures for all.

Effective support for SMEs

We have held the Small Business Charter (SBC) accreditation for over 10 years. This award is given to business schools that play an effective role in supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship.

It’s the highest level of accreditation, which means you can expect to tap into an experienced, successful and highly valued business network when you work with us.
