The Centre for Enterprise supports business leaders to innovate and grow.

Our specialist team transforms leading research into practical solutions that help businesses. We focus on support to upskill, embrace emerging technologies and boost productivity.

We look at the needs of micro, small and medium-sized businesses, and help them identify achievable steps. Whether developing action plans, marketing strategies or business toolkits in our leadership and growth programmes, or identifying how to adopt digital or green technologies through our innovation services, the Centre can help. 

We offer a variety of part- and fully-subsidised support, providing access to cutting-edge research into business and technology and networking with other owners and leaders. 

Our world-class facilities are available to small businesses as are opportunities for collaboration and networking.

The Small Business Charter (SBC) award is given to business schools that play an effective role in supporting small businesses, local economies and student entrepreneurship.
