About KTP associate roles

Knowledge Transfer Partnerships are one of the largest graduate recruitment programmes in the UK.

Each year, around 800 graduates, postgraduates or doctoral specialists — known as KTP associates — are employed by universities to help client organisations innovate, grow and drive lasting, transformative change.

As an associate, you’ll lead a one- to three-year project. You could be working with an organisation of any size, in any sector. Projects are often focused on developing new products or services or improving the way organisations are run.

You’ll be based at your host organisation — and you’ll have access to our city-centre campus and outstanding facilities.

On average, our associates have a starting salary of £33,000. They also join the generous Local Government Pension Scheme and get exclusive staff discounts and benefits.
