I knew that enhancing my skills through postgraduate study would make me a more desirable candidate in a competitive job market. I was able to specialise my skills and make connections that would be useful in my career.

I have gained problem solving and analytical skills, particularly in regards to scheduling, risk management, health and safety and cost analysis. These skills will be vital towards my future career, ensuring the effective delivery of major engineering projects.

I also had the opportunity to work with staff at the university currently undertaking fuel cell research and visited the Industrial Manufacturing Lab to explore digital twin manufacturing. These experiences were highly influential to my coursework, allowing me to see the technology in action. The staff were highly accommodating and always willing to answer questions.

The support from my tutors has been outstanding. I have been taught by specialists in the field, each offering unique and interesting insights. The course leaders are highly specialised in project management, having had many years in industry, and so have been amazing at offering support and tailoring advice to a host of different career paths. Thanks to their help and advice during the application process, I received several job offers after graduation. Their support has been invaluable towards helping me to achieve employment after my studies.
