Provided expert opinion to Law Commission in relation to proposed amendments to the Mental Capacity Act (2005) on behalf of Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (08.12.16).

My doctoral research involved the development and evaluation of the MCAST, a toolkit to enable health and social care staff to carry out high quality mental capacity assessments and support the needs of people with communication disorders during the decision-making process.
