The Policy Evaluation and Research Unit (PERU), Manchester Metropolitan University and the Centre for Digital Society (CfDS), University of Gajah Mada are pleased to invite you to our joint webinar on the Monday 18th May at 10.00 – 11.30.

The event will be jointly chaired by: Kevin Wong from PERU and Raka Wicaksono CFDS.

Dr Adi Kuntsman, Manchester Metropolitan University will be speaking on: “Selfie politics: dreams and dangers of online visibility”

Dr Adi Kuntsman is Senior Lecturer in Digital Politics. Her research interests are digital cultures and communications: digital disengagement; and the environmental tolls of digital communications

Paska Darmawan (CfDS) will be speaking on: "The Role of Social Media on Organizing Social Movement: 'Gejayan Memanggil' and Other Similar Movements"

The Center for Digital Society aims to solve social problems and accelerate prosperity through developing a digital society in Indonesia
