My profile
Biography
In 2000, I started working for Manchester Metropolitan University as an associate lecturer in an attempt to share my knowledge, skills and experience. Since then I have continued to work in higher education whilst attempting to link education back to industry through a number of projects and initiatives.
My current interest are the development of employability skills within the programme to strengthen student resilience and support future career objectives. My areas of teaching are business skills and data to grow the tread of business intelligence skills within the programmes.

Interests and expertise
My DHoA role looks to support programmes to embed Assurance of Learning as part of the AACSB accreditation across the Business School. My role as Principal Lecturer covers areas of teaching and supporting the development of the International Hospitality within OTEHM.
Projects
Lowther Farm Foods project team to develop organic food range (May-July 2003).
Up-Skilling project within industry producing training schedules for the delivery of NVQs assessors within hotels (2001/02).
Teaching

I have supported many Undergraduate and Postgraduates students with their research projects.
PhD supervision-Research title: Psychological safety and Employee innovation in the UK’s hotel sector.
Research outputs
My current interest are;
Working with online management simulations; currently, Hotel Operations Tactics and
Strategy simulation (HOTS) to embed into undergraduate and postgraduate
management training on our full time hospitality degree programmes and working
with industry to develop links and support for management training.
Researching the impact of Business Data and Data Analytics with a view to embed into
Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes.
