Psychology

Psychology is the science of how we think, feel, behave and communicate.

It is concerned with all aspects of human experience and seeks to change and improve everyday life. You’ll search for answers using scientific methods to help you develop an understanding of human behaviour.

On our accredited psychology courses, you’ll learn core British Psychological Society (BPS) content. As well as developing a thorough understanding of key psychological research, theory and principles, you’ll also participate in practical learning and experimental research.

Work-integrated learning

We offer innovative options such as study abroad and placement year helping students gain key transferrable skills and play a role in their own career planning.

Outstanding facilities

We have specialist facilities for teaching and research. Our virtual simulation room, the CAVE and the social-development laboratory, the Flat, are dedicated spaces to bring to life various aspects of human behaviour and enhance the student learning experience.
