We were fortunate to hear from Adrian Ellis, a mentor from the hospitality program. Adrian captivated the audience with his talk on the hospitality programme’s growth, the support students receive, and inspiring success stories of where his previous mentees are now post-graduation.

Following Adrian’s talk, Nhi Lu Nguyen, Adrian’s current mentee, shared her appreciation for his unwavering support, citing transformative experiences like ‘A Day in the Life as a GM’ at The Lowry Hotel.

During the event, attendees were able to network with other mentors and mentees within their area of expertise and, hear about other volunteer opportunities they could get involved in at Manchester Met.  With over 280 people registered to attend, the event was a resounding success!
