The First Generation Scholarship Programme aims to change the lives of 1,000 young learners from the North West, whose parents or guardians did not go to university.
With the support of friends, we will achieve this ambition. But there is more to be done beyond 2025.

Meet our scholars
Thanks for the First Generation Programme I am able to focus more on my academic and personal growth, participate in extracurricular activities and pursue opportunities that I otherwise might not have been able to.
Receiving the scholarship gives me access to funds that will help me improve myself, both personally and professionally. Especially now that we live in a world where the cost of living is increasing, I feel as though I no longer have to stress about my financial conditions.
As a British Pakistani Muslim, this is huge for me and my family. I want to open the door for those in my community who believe they can enter this field, without feeling pressurised by parents or family to study more traditional subjects.
