Define your practice

You’ll shape your own artistic direction by exploring painting, print media, sculpture and time-based art. We’ll encourage you to experiment, combine approaches and investigate new ways of working helping you develop a distinctive practice.

Specialist facilities

Study in Grosvenor West, the historic home of Manchester School of Art, newly refurbished with extensive studios. You’ll also have access to technical workshops such as ceramics, metalwork and hot glass.

Creative connections

You'll have the chance to collaborate with organisations across Manchester’s cultural scene. Previously, students have worked with Manchester Art Gallery, HOME MCR, Aviva Studios and artist-led spaces such as Castlefield Gallery and Paradise Works.
