Use this form to apply to pay for article processing charges (APCs) using the open access publishing fund or a UKRI block grant.

The funding can be used for journal articles or published conference proceedings that represent outstanding original and rigorous research in high-quality journals or research that underpins significant economic and societal impacts.

Also use this form to apply to use the open access publishing fund to pay for book processing charges (BPCs) for monographs, edited books, or book chapters.

Approval will be based on your responses to the questions and support from your faculty director of research, unless the application is for a UKRI funded article as these will be automatically approved.

Please discuss your application with your faculty director of research before completing this form (unless applying for a UKRI funded article).
