The North West Film Archive @nwfilmarchive are making practical changes to ensure their collections are more inclusive, welcoming, and relevant to all. Their ongoing accessibility project is working towards: • Presenting NWFA live events with descriptive subtitles • Providing British Sign Language interpretation at live events. • Improving physical and sensory accessibility of venues, film shows, and tours. • Improving online access to the collections. • Consulting with community groups to inform accessibility and representation. They would like to work in consultation with their audiences throughout this process and welcome questions and comments - they would love to hear from you [email protected] This project has been supported by the British Film Institute’s Screen Heritage Fund. 🎥BSL Interpreter Lizzie Wharton at Fleetwood Film Show
