You have full access to university support during your time abroad.
ACADEMIC SUPPORT
Your exchange coordinator will be able to advise you on the course units you should take and the learning outcomes.
If you experience any academic issues while you are abroad, please raise them with your host university and your Manchester Met exchange coordinator. They will address your issues and support you accordingly.

We encourage all students to read the support materials provided by the Disability Service. Contact the Disability Service if you need further help.
If you have a personal learning plan and receive support towards your learning, you will need to share your plan with the host university or organisation. We will not be able to disclose your support needs on your behalf.

Please ensure that you respond to us as soon as possible to confirm your safety.
PERSONAL INJURY AND CRIME
In the event of injury, or if you are the victim of crime abroad, it is important that you know how to report it and how to seek support and guidance. Make sure that you do not put yourself at any unnecessary risk and prepare carefully for living in your destination country, where there may be differences in weather, wildlife and road safety that you are not used to.
