You'll go on visits to specific areas of safety, health and environmental (SHE) and health and wellbeing settings.
Seminar sessions
You'll have sessions to help you develop the skills to identify, evidence and analyse concerns for human health safety and environment.
Professional development
Once enrolled on the course, you’ll be eligible to apply for student membership with Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) and the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM).
Approved course
The course is approved by Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP).This course entitles students to free student membership for the duration of the course.
Guest speakers and networking events
We host guest speakers from a range of sectors and participate in safety, health and wellbeing industry networking events. Previous events have included accident investigation simulations in the construction industry.

Ten credits equates to 100 hours of study, which is a combination of lectures, seminars and practical sessions, and independent study. A masters qualification typically comprises of 180 credits, a PGDip 120 credits, a PGCert 60 credits and an MFA 300 credits. During the course, you are likely to be required to engage in collaborative projects, practical assessments, group work activities, and to give presentations to your peers/tutors.
