Accelerated course

Two-year course developed for postgraduate students to gain registration as a physiotherapist.

Practice experience

You'll complete clinical placements in both years of this course, gaining experience across private and NHS practice environments in the UK. You’ll need to complete a total of 1,000 hours of clinical placements to register as a physiotherapist.

Specialist facilities

You'll learn in our dedicated physiotherapy facilities on-campus, which includes eight separate practical rooms, a movement laboratory and simulation technology.

Approved course

Our physiotherapy course has been approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and accredited by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP).

Variety of placements

You’ll complete four, six-week placements and one, five-week placement.  These placements are normally organised by the Practice Placement team and take place in a wide variety of clinical areas including the NHS and private practice.
