You’ll spend at least 563 hours on placements to develop your clinical practice and have exposure to different settings.

Specialist facilities

You’ll have access to our on-campus ICON Centre, which features a wide range of specialist speech and language therapy equipment and Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC).

Our dedicated technicians help you to learn how to use our high-tech equipment and provide workshops and training on our specialist facilities.

Accredited course

When you graduate, you’re eligible to apply for professional registration with the HCPC, which means you can practise as a speech and language therapist, and to apply for membership of the RCSLT.

Postgraduate community

You can join our student-run Speech Society – past activities include guest lectures from people who use AAC and fundraising events.
