Jenny Warburton FHEA

I’m Jenny Warburton, Lecturer in Marketing in the Department of Marketing, International Business and Tourism, at Manchester Metropolitan University.  I am Module Leader for the following units;

I have also taught on Business & Marketing Professional, Sales & Marketing and Introduction to Business & Marketing at undergraduate level.

Prior to joining Manchester Metropolitan University, I spent 12 years specialising in delivering and coaching enterprise, entrepreneurial and employability skills within the curriculum at the University of Salford. Gained a Masters of Enterprise and Technology with Distinction.  During this time, I was also Project Manager for two large European projects, which gave me the opportunity to visit many European countries.

Awarded Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) in 2016 in recognition of my teaching and supporting learning in higher education. It demonstrates my engagement with a broad understanding of effective approaches to learning and teaching support as a key contribution to high quality student learning.  More recently (2023), awarded Senior Fellow (SFHEA) in recognition for my leadership on department projects focusing on student profiling and Induction.
