Diversity

The University firmly believes in equality of opportunity for all researchers. And we value diversity and inclusion and put them at the heart of our research and knowledge exchange strategy.

We want to lead the education sector in having an inclusive and diverse research environment - and are continuously seeking ways of improving support mechanisms for all of our staff.

Our vision reflects the values set out in the wider approach of the University.

We actively promote diversity, respect the rights of individuals and promote responsible, ethical behaviour.

And we follow UK Research and Innovation’s principles for equality, diversity and inclusion.
