My profile

Biography

A professional and experienced Chartered Marketer.  I have over 13 years teaching experience on various Marketing, Business, Entrepreneurship/Sustainability programmes. I retired from being Programme Leader for the BA (Hons) Marketing in 2019 and returned working part time. Prior to this I was Programme Leader for BA (Hons) Food Business Entrepreneurship.

With over 25 years experience in Marketing for commercial, public, government and non profit sectors both in the UK and abroad.  I have held various positions in marketing, strategy, PR and communications including digital.

My first job was as a materials buyer in the Construction Industry for an international construction company. This gave me an excellent grounding of the whole business process. I was fortunate to be one of only two females in the role at the time.

I bring practical insights to my teaching and being a passionate marketer I can bridge the gap between theory and practice.
