To'neill Bala FHEA, MSc, PGC LTHE

I joined Manchester Metropolitan University in 2019, and I teach Finance and Accounting on the Chartered Management Degree Apprenticeship programme, as well as Financial Management for Mangers across various undergraduate programmes. 

In addition, I supervise various projects including Negotiated Retail Business Projects (Advance) providing academic support to final year students. 

I am the Unit leader for Finance and Accounting for Retail Managers on the CMDA programme and teach level 5 students from various businesses including McDonalds and ASDA. 

I have serval years of management experience in retail as well as in the NHS and private healthcare sector. My industry experience aids my teaching as I am able to provide a pragmatic approach to teaching with real examples within the work place. 

Other academic service (administration and management)

I am the Personal Tutor Coordinator for The Department of Marketing, Retail & Tourism, supporting staff as they coach and provide academic and pastoral support to students.

In addition, I have been taken part in various End Point Assessments for the Chartered Management Institute.
